No. Guests scan a QR code or open a link in any browser. No account, no app store, no sign-up — they start uploading in seconds.

Guests scan the QR code at the venue or tap a link shared via WhatsApp. They enter a nickname and start uploading immediately.

Yes. When joining, guests can optionally create a 4-6 digit passcode. This lets them reclaim their identity if they rejoin later from a different device.

Three modes: Photo (single capture), Boomerang (animated GIF), and Photo Strip (4-panel booth). Plus 6 filters: Normal, Retro, B&W, Fade, Warm, and Vivid.

Each event gets 20 creative photo prompts from an 80-challenge library—such as 'Reflection Story', 'Miniature Magic', and 'Movie Poster'. They are designed to inspire the unexpected shots people usually miss. Guests earn points for completing them, which feed into the leaderboard.

Yes. Guests can delete any photo they uploaded from the gallery.

From the host dashboard, you get a QR code, a share link, and a join code. You can send these via WhatsApp, print QR cards, or display them at the venue.

Connect a laptop to a projector and open the Live page. Photos auto-cycle in fullscreen every 4 seconds with a stats overlay. Press ESC to exit.

Yes. As the host, you can delete any photo from the gallery. You can also delay gallery visibility until after the event ends.

Hosts can create Quick polls (live results) or Award polls (results hidden until closed). Guests vote once per poll.

Momento auto-generates 6 awards (Funniest Photo, Best Candid, Best Group Shot, Main Character, Most Active, Most Reacted) based on upload activity and AI scoring.

After your event, you can generate a recap video — a slideshow of the best photos with cinematic transitions. Available in 4 variants: 30s Recap, 60s Aftermovie, Funny Cut, and Emotional Cut.

Not currently. The recap is a visual slideshow with transitions. Music support is planned for a future update.

Once generated, share the recap link via WhatsApp directly from the app.

No. Choose your guest capacity and add-ons during event creation — they lock once the event exists. Free events stay free; paid plans must be purchased in the create flow (you have 1 hour to finish if checkout was interrupted).

Never. Guests upload for free. Only the host pays for the event plan.

Sign in at momento.camera/signin with the email your planner used. Open your dashboard — events waiting for you show a Tap to claim badge. Claim once to get full host access (QR, gallery, recap).

Yes. Events are not listed anywhere. Only people with your QR code, share link, or event code can join.

Photos belong to whoever took them. By uploading, guests grant a license for display in the event gallery and recap. See our privacy policy for details.

Yes. Hosts can delete their event at any time from the settings page. This permanently removes all photos, guest records, and recaps.
